It represents the final stage of single-engine Spitfire development, and this kit gives modellers a route into one of the less commonly built variants.

The kit contains 44 precision-moulded plastic parts, along with an instruction sheet, paint guide and decal sheet covering two authentic paint schemes. It is rated skill level 1, so it suits those wanting a simple and enjoyable build without a long parts list. Plastic cement and paint are needed to complete the model but are not included.

Specifications

Brand: Airfix

Aircraft type: Spitfire

Variant: PR.XIX

Scale: 1:72

Air force: RAF

Era: WW2

Parts: 44

Skill level: 1

What's inside: Plastic kit, instruction sheet, paint guide and decal sheet

Common questions

What scale is this Spitfire kit?

It is 1:72 scale, a compact size suited to display collections.

What's included in the box?

You get 44 plastic parts, an instruction sheet, a paint guide and decals for two paint schemes.

Do I need anything else to build it?

Yes, plastic cement and paint are required to complete the model and are not supplied with the kit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0982/0294/3863/files/airfix-supermarine-spitfire-pr-xix-1-72-plastic-kit-A02017B-4.jpg?v=1774552532
