The USAF originally planned to order 750 units, but this was reduced in 2009 due to high costs and a shortage of comparable opposing aircraft, with delays in Chinese and Russian fighter programmes contributing to the decision. Only 187 F-22s were ultimately delivered to the Air Force.

This replica is built from metal with some plastic components, finished with authentic markings for the 90th Fighter Squadron. It is supplied with landing gear fitted and a metal display stand for presentation.

Specifications

Brand: Air Force One Models

Aircraft type: F-22 Raptor

Air force: USAF

Scale: 1:72

Era: Modern

Category: Diecast Models

Common questions

What scale is this F-22 Raptor model?

It is built to 1:72 scale.

What's included with the model?

The model comes with landing gear fitted, a metal display stand, and is finished in authentic 90th Fighter Squadron "Pair o Dice" markings.

Is this a built model or a kit I need to assemble?

This is a pre-built die-cast replica made from metal with plastic pieces, so no assembly or painting is required.

https://www.hangarmodels.co.uk/products/af1-models-f-35a-lightning-ii-edwards-air-force-base-diecast-scale-model-1-72-af1-0008a-copy-1
