The matt finish is well suited to military subjects where a flat, authentic look is wanted rather than any sheen.

Apply it straight from the tin with a brush for detailed work, or thin with Humbrol Enamel Thinners at a 2:1 ratio if you prefer to airbrush it. Two thin coats give a better result than one heavy coat, and the finish is permanent once cured, standing up to handling and weathering.

Specifications

Brand: Humbrol

Colour: Light Olive Matt

Finish: Matt

Type: Enamel Paint

Size: 14ml

Coverage: Approximately 0.3m²

Drying time: Touch-dry in 20-40 minutes

Thinning ratio: 2:1 with Humbrol Enamel Thinners

Common questions

How long does it take to dry?

It becomes touch-dry in 20 to 40 minutes, which makes it practical for multi-layer painting sessions.

Can I use it in an airbrush?

Yes, thin it with Humbrol Enamel Thinners at a 2:1 ratio before airbrushing.
