The 14ml tin gives approximately 0.3m² of coverage per coat, enough for small components and larger airframes or hulls.

It can be brushed straight from the tin for precision work, or thinned with Humbrol Enamel Thinners and sprayed through an airbrush for a smoother finish. Two thin coats are recommended rather than one heavy application, giving a more even matt result once cured.

Specifications

Brand: Humbrol

Paint colour: Black

Finish: Matt

Type: Enamel

Volume: 14ml

Coverage: Approximately 0.3m² per coat

Drying time: Touch-dry in 20-40 minutes

Category: Paints & Accessories

Common questions

What surfaces can I use this paint on?

It's formulated for plastic model kits but also adheres to wood, metal, ceramics and sealed surfaces.

Can I airbrush this paint?

Yes, thin it with Humbrol Enamel Thinners first to get a seamless, even coverage through an airbrush.

How long before I can handle the model after painting?

It's touch-dry within 20-40 minutes, though the finish becomes fully permanent once properly cured.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0982/0294/3863/files/33-black-matt-enamel-paint-14ml-AA0360-1.jpg?v=1774281141
