The metallic particles settle within the paint and give an authentic sheen once the paint has fully cured.

Apply it straight from the tin with a brush, or thin with Humbrol Enamel Thinners for airbrush work. Two thin coats generally give a better result than one thick coat, both in finish and in how evenly the metallic particles sit.

Specifications

Brand: Humbrol

Colour: Black Metallic

Type: Enamel Paint

Size: 14ml

Coverage: approximately 0.3m²

Finish: Metallic

Common questions

How long does this paint take to dry?

It's touch dry in under 20 minutes for most applications, though as a metallic enamel it needs around 10 days to harden fully.

Can I use this paint on surfaces other than plastic?

Yes, this enamel also works on wood, metal, ceramics and other sealed surfaces, not just plastic model kits.

Do I need to thin it for airbrushing?

Yes, thin it with Humbrol Enamel Thinners before airbrushing to get an even, flawless coverage.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0982/0294/3863/files/201-black-metallic-enamel-paint-14ml-AA6392-1.jpg?v=1774285806
